Cubs Quick Hits: Bryzzo Ranked Fifth Best Duo, Dodgers Boast Top Pair
Blaspheny! Bryzzo isn’t projected to be the best duo in 2017? Sadly, you read that right.
FanGraphs sought to find baseball’s best one-two punch by sorting through each team’s highest projected players. The Dodgers take home the award for best duo with Clayton Kershaw and Corey Seager, who are projected to generate 11.9 WAR in total during the upcoming season.
Barely behind the LA duo is the other “Los Angeles” pact of Mike Trout and Andrelton Simmons with 11.6 total WAR. And then, finally, Bryzzo arrives at fifth on the list, combining for 10.3 total projected WAR.
