Wrigley Construction Update: With Less Than Three Weeks to Home Opener, Field Starting to Come Together (Photos)
Let me start by once again commending the Wrigley Aerials folks for providing these glimpses into what has been an extensive facelift over the course of the winter. As we saw in past updates, it was looking for a while as though there was no way they’d have the field ready in time. I mean, anything not covered by tarpaulin had heavy equipment on it.
The tarp is still there, but the trucks and excavators are all gone and the field is ready for sod. And with the Chicago forecast calling for temps above 45 for the next week and a half, they should be able to roll out the green carpet and get it to take hold before welcoming the Dodgers.
Still worried?

By special request here's the latest look at the RF upper deck work, from 3/12. Good view of the new lines, too. Hope to update this week. pic.twitter.com/vtiLtCIF3R
