With the Cubs trailing 1-0 and Josh Hader looming in the Brewers pen, David Bote forced the issue on an Almora single to get the Cubs on the board. To do so, he pulled off a slide that certainly makes it look like he’s been getting some lessons from one Javier Báez. Brilliant effort by Bote to avoid the tag and get the Cubs an important run.
